The Fannie Mae facility located at 3900 Wisconsin Avenue in North West Washington, DC encompasses a total of approximately 228,000 square feet of office space on three levels.  Under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract, JVP was commissioned to provide the Master Plan of a complete upgrade of the facility’s entire mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

The Master Plan identified a comprehensive implementation plan for the replacement of aging  chillers, an emergency power plant renovation, electrical service modifications, elevator upgrades, adding a building-wide fire sprinkler system, new lighting and lighting controls, replacement of branch circuit panelboards, replacement of air handling units and VAV boxes, boiler replacement, removal of shell tube heat exchangers, replacement of hot water pumps, air and water balancing, humidifier upgrades, data center decommissioning, cafeteria modifications, new kitchen exhaust system and the removal of an underground heating oil tank.
