Mr. Kincaid is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive design and project management experience for HVAC and Plumbing projects of various types, for buildings, medical facilities and campus facilities.
David was born and raised in Suffolk, Virginia. His father owned and operated a welding and machine shop and Mr. Kincaid worked there on weekends and during summers. Being involved in that industry led to his decision to pursue a career in mechanical engineering. He looked toward using his expertise to assist with machine design and other systems/approaches for his father’s business.
He is a 1970 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, earning his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. His area of specialization includes courses in mechanical design, HVAC, mechanical utility systems, oil chiller plants, and cooling distribution. Mr. Kincaid has substantial experience in those area, as well as fuel type evaluations, cost estimating, and life cycle cost analysis.
