Mr. Mirzai is an accomplished electrical engineer with significant experience in government, educational, healthcare and commercial facilities.
Born and raised in Iran, Mr. Mirzai came to the United States in 1977 and attended high school in Oakton, Virginia. From a very young age, Reza was one of those people who always loved to break things and take them apart to see how they worked. He always liked electricity and wanted to be an electrical engineer from nearly day one.
Mr. Mirzai attended Catholic University from 1980 to 1984, when he earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He went on to graduate with his master’s degree from the University of Southern California in 1987. He has been working ever since.
With more than 29 years of electrical and communications building systems design and management, Mr. Mirzai is experienced in design and construction management of power distribution, lighting, fire detection, public address, closed-circuit television, access control, and telecommunications systems.
Career Highlights: Hospital in rural Middle East, airports in Kuwait and Malta, and several important industrial facilities, including a very large scale facility in Ohio.
